Improvodox is a non-denominational, Jewish, Improvisational and Sketch Comedy group.

We are a Shomer Shabbat group that explores both Jewish and secular themes in the famed tradition of Chicago-style longform improv.

Improvodox was created in 2005 by Andrea Steiner who realized her dream of performing on stage, by creating a group that did not conflict, but in fact was cohesive with her religious observances.

Improvodox have performed in a variety of settings in the New York metropolitan area since 2006 -- we have made people laugh in black box theaters, synagogues, nursing homes, and even birthday parties!
